La Vecindad Partners with Vegas PBS to Bring Learning to Southern Nevada Families

La Vecindad announces a two-year sponsorship with Vegas PBS to support early childhood education across Southern Nevada.

At La Vecindad, we believe in feeding more than just appetites — we believe in feeding our community. That’s why we’re proud to announce our new two-year partnership with Vegas PBS and their Learning Neighborhood Van.

What is the Learning Neighborhood Van?

The Vegas PBS Learning Neighborhood Van brings hands-on educational activities directly to families through workshops, pop-up events, and community gatherings across Southern Nevada — over 300 family-friendly events each year, reaching more than 37,500 individuals. Powered by Vegas PBS’s Ready To Learn program, the van uses PBS KIDS content to help kids and their families build early learning skills together, right in their own neighborhoods.

Why We Said Yes

Our team had the chance to visit Vegas PBS’s studios and see their work up close — from Educational Media Services to Emergency Response Technology. What stuck with us was simple: this is a team using media and technology to genuinely empower families, not just entertain them. That mission felt like a natural fit for who we are as a business rooted in community.

As part of the partnership, our logo will now travel across Southern Nevada on the Learning Neighborhood Van itself, and you’ll start seeing La Vecindad featured in the Vegas PBS Learning Neighborhood newsletter and on their education page.

Community First

This sponsorship is our way of investing in the neighborhoods that have supported us since day one. Every workshop, pop-up, and event that van reaches is a family getting a little more support — and we’re honored to help make that possible.
